- Professionalism within the administration and program staff.
- A means by which the program may be enhanced by the Committee making certain recommendations for policy changes to the Coordinator of Student Counselling Services, who in turn shall bring the same to the attention of the Directors. Policy changes being recommended must stem from repeated appeals of the similar cases that adversely affect students’ academic performance and/or unique circumstances that are not covered in Post-Secondary and Community Based Policy.
- A sense of fairness and equity in that a means is provided whereby applicants and/or sponsored students may appeal to an independent body on decisions made by the Authority in regards to sponsorship.
